In 1988 the "Morris worm" crawled across the emerging internet and attacked computers and passwords. Since then, the internet has become the primary way many people work, socialise and even bank. Unfortunately, our computers and passwords are still under attack by worms and hackers every day. Fortunately, there are things we can do to keep our computers, our families and ourselves safe online.

This talk focuses on how people can stay safe on the modern internet. It will include simple strategies for how to keep your home computer safe, how to choose good passwords and how to detect when something suspicious is happening.
